Lone Girl on a windy shore
Lone Girl on a windy shore
“using expressive brushwork these artists capture the dazzling and evanescent effects of light within a natural vista.” - Of the British Impressionist School from an article in The Art Story. (The Artstory.org.)
One from our collection that immediately catches the gaze, winning a lengthy stare is “Lone Girl on a windy shore.” This captivating oil on board from the Mid 20th Century British Impressionist school in original gilt ood frame, is reminiscent of childhood innocence and freedom to explore.
*About the condition of the piece: The original gilt wood frame (with maker’s mark on the back,) is not completely intact with cracks appearing in places. There is a small piece of the frame missing on the left bottom corner. Contact me prior to proceeding with payment if additional information and/or images of the painting is required.
